Due to the cancellation of the Family Guy series on Fox in 2003, fans were forced to do whatever they can to try and bring back the show. The fans didn't get any new episodes for 2 years, but their hunger for the show was somewhat suppressed when the show was put into syndication. Cartoon Network was allowed to start showing the show soon after the cancellation. But, because the Family Guy had some crude and offensive content, it was only to be shown at night. Family Guy was part of Cartoon Network's Adult Swim time zone. Adult Swim was a compilation of shows that contained similar content as Family Guy that was shown late at night throughout the week. Up until this day, Family Guy is still part of the Adult Swim line up, and soon they will start to show the new episodes that Fox started showing. You can also catch reruns of Family Guy on the TBS Superstation. It is also shown at night with other similar shows, just like Adult Swim. You can catch it twice a week on that channel.
