About Family Guy

The Family Guy Movie

The Family Guy Movie was supposed to be released late last year to early this year. But due to return of the new season, plans of releasing the Family Guy Movie into theatres were scrapped. Even though the Family Guy Movie is not going to be shown in theatres anymore, fans might be able to watch it in the comforts of their own home. It's been said that the movie will be shown as a three part series in Season 4.

There were two plots that were rumored as to what the Family Guy Movie would be about.

One of the plots for the Family Guy Movie was that Stewie supposedly finds out that he is gay but the plans for the coming out show was scrapped due to the show's cancellation. After the show's return, the creator Seth McFarlane kept the sexuality of Stewie ambigious to make it easier to write scripts for the toddler.

The other plot was for Stewie to search for his real father. This plot came to fruition near the end of the 4th season. The movie was aired as three episodes for the finale of season four respectively titled--Stewie B. Goode, Bango Was His Name Oh! and Stu and Stewie's Excellent Adventure.

Stewie B. Goode has Stewie going to Hell after dying from getting crushed by a lifeguard chair during a failed revenge ploy. Stewis is later revived and promises to change himself.

In Bango Was His Name Oh!, Stewie sees a man on television with his facial features and believes him to be his real father. Along with Brian, Stewie hitches a ride with Quahog on a cross-country trip to San Francisco to find the man. The man turns out to be Stewie from 30-years in the future.

In the last part, Stewie's Excellent Adventure, Stewie tricks his future self and ends up in his future. He finds out that his future life is pathetic. He tries to fix his future self but everything backfired. Stewie learns the reason for the future was due to his memories of getting crushed by the lifeguard chair. Stewie and his future self travel back in time to fix the situations in order to change the future.

The episodes were later combined onto a single DVD and sold as Family Guy Presents Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story.

A second episode to movie was released during the sixth season. The episode was a hour-long spoof of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope called Family Guy: Blue Harvest. The special episode became the most viewed Family Guy episode of all time when it was first televisied.
